Vinz is a Dragon who greatly depends on others. He heard the story of his mother and fathers and feels very close to them and his brother. There is no one Vinz looks up to more than Ailk. Ailk is, in many ways, what Vinz wants to grow up to be. Despite the actual order they were made in, Vinz feels that Ailk is the older brother. When around his family, Vinz feels the most comfortable and like he can be himself, no matter what. He sees the love his parents have for each other and knows that they love their offspring just as much. Vinz may be large like Mishka, but he has a smaller personality. He has the brightest smile imaginable, though, and those who can see it are the luckiest in the Vale. He smiles often but so far, only his family has seen the bright, earnest, true smile that would make even the Bone Hag happy.

As...awkward as it is to imagine, Vinz's favorite things ever are slides. He would love to WHOOOOSH down one someday. It's nearly impossible, though, with his pole and his size. He may wish and dream but he knows how difficult it would be to ever fulfill that goal. But it still brings him joy to watch other Dragons enjoying them. Even if he can't. And though he may look happy, there's always a part of him that is jealous. But he tries not to be because he feels that Ailk would disapprove of jealousy. Vinz doesn't really mind being a slide for certain Dragons. They can have fun sliding down his tail and he's happy to be involved. It's better than just watching.

Vinz has a particular hatred for those who ridicule others. Putting anyone else down is simply inexcusable. And the only time Vinz will really stand up to others is if they're being rude and making fun of anyone else. He has a secret fear of being made fun of himself and so will not tolerate it. He's rather like Ailk that way. He's never heard anyone making fun of him but he's still afraid of it. Another thing he won't tolerate is anyone arguing about the love his parents have for each other. There are some that may believe Alphonsine cannot love two different Drakeys but Vinz knows she can and does! That love is what Vinz believes in all else. It's what brought his essence into his stitching. It's what created this Vale. He believes in that love more than he does in the Master Tailors (not that he'd ever tell them that).

In short, Vinz tries to be a sweet, understanding Drakey. Someone easy to be friends with. He wants to be just as confident and strong as his brother and longs to have the closest friendship imaginable with Ailk. He's perhaps a bit mushy and not quite as strong as he could be but he honestly values others and cannot bring himself to hate anyone. He might be frightened of them and like them a little less but he could never hate. Except for melted cheese. Melted cheese is the worst thing ever.
