DG - Elidi - Tashawasha

Absolutely stumped and stupefied, I can barely manage to properly introduce myself to the newest addition to my family. All I find myself managing to drag past my lips is a simple, "Hi." That wont do. This little gift deserves so much more than a simple hi!

"I'm trying to think of something to say that'll make you aware of how special you are. I promise as your caretaker and companion, I'll do all I can to make sure you're as properly cared for and as happy as I can make you."

I ponder a bit on a name...

"Well, you'll be golden and blue, or so I've been told.... Elidi, I think, would be a good name. 'Gift of the sun,' I think is a fitful name. for one such as you."

I watch the egg carefully, wondering what the hatchling will look like and how I will ever manage to properly thank the individual involved with gifting me such a rare little one.
