Alphonsine, though born as Alphonse, never quite fit in with himself. He was stitched as a male but his interests and mind was that of a female. It must have been a small mix-up in the tailor shoppe or perhaps with the nursers. There must have been a lot of eggs to care for and, well, mistakes happen. Nothing to be too upset about. Alphonse lived his life as he could. His gender certainly didn't stop his interests! He loves fashion and jewelry and always did enjoy a rousing game of dress-up. For some reason, he feels music goes hand-in-hand (or maybe tail-in-tail) with fashion. He loves music and is especially fascinated by a Leafy's mating habits. Nothing inappropriate, he just loves how they incorporate music into everything they do. He's always been a fierce friend, incredibly loyal to the very end. There are times when he has trouble trusting others due to his secrets. He tends to have an easier time befriending females though he isn't aware of this trend.

But Alphonse came to a point in his life when things just weren't as satisfying for him. He'd never bred, never fallen in love. He was tired of feeling...wrong in his own cloth. He needed a change. During this time, he became more lethargic, more solitary. He was incredibly lonely and desperate for a friend who understood him but could no longer make the effort to seek friends out. He was just...tired. He eventually found himself in the Island of Misfit Dragons, largely by accident, but he remained there. It was there that he began to realize what he wanted and needed to be happy again. A special potion could change everything for him and yet change nothing at all. He could be himself, truly, without having to hide anything at all. He could admit his desires. He could maybe even find love. Male? Female? Did it matter? Not really, not in matters of love but in matters of how he felt about himself? Yes. It mattered. And someday, he would find a way to change to become himself.

Thanks to the help of a companion who rescued Alphonsine from the Island of Misfit Dragons, Alphonsine was able to go through his desired change. It was surprisingly simple. Take a potion and... Alphonsine was a girl! Finally, she felt somewhat whole again. Indebted to the No-Threads who helped her discover herself. She was able to be the Drakey she wanted and to show the entire Vale who she really was. She could now focus on enjoying her life, collecting wonderful things, and be a Drakey her No-Threads companion would be proud of. There was still the matter of finding love but that, too, would come with time. Alphonsine felt happy and complete and her outlook changed to the side of optimism. She no longer needed to worry or to mope around. She found she could now believe in herself and others.
